GN: Why should we be ashamed of growing old?

It's strange how some people would go to extreme measures in order to hide their true age. Why should we be ashamed of growing old? Our age is a running account of the many expressions of our Lord's love for us. Indeed, it is amazing how God sustains us with every year that is added to our lives.
